Rear defrost sometimes works sometimes not. When button is pressed on, sometimes it occasionally clicks with a corresponding drop/rise in rpms. Light remains on during the clicks.

Got amber coolant warning Looked empty - I could see metal components at bottom. Filled 500ml which got the floater rising up. Will monitor.

Right rear black plastic underbody shroud. Drove over a curb and broke the passenger rear black underbody cowl. A plastic shroud thing the size of a pancake. It split in half and half was hanging off. Solution: Zip tie to the half that is still attached. Works fine ✅

Battery is quite weak and will die if listening to radio for 10min. Remains to be seen how it performs in subzero Recall Jan 2023 alternator was replaced.

Knock/Rattle sounds coming from front suspension again. This time more pronounced than last year(s). Last time Andrew said he tightened it , but it will return. He said it’s not dangerous.

Weird….during idle, the heat fan stops blowing on occasion. Monitor it. Possibly related to battery or alternator ?

Low oil warning “+1L” (0%) after a month at 50% Then next day back up to 1 above min ( 25%) •also noticing exhaust smells in cabin during stop&go traffuc, but I’m not sure if it’s izzy

Received Izzy from service. She was overheating due to fan not activating. Long wait after Andrew had problems getting a new fan motor to be recognized by car. Ended up being a corroded wire Replaced: •Relay & temp sensor for fan •Fan motor & sensor •Oil housing gasket Did not replace: •water pump/thermostat … it’s due, but Andrew said it can To monitor: •sludge on coolant cap…see if it worsens. Andrew thinks we can get 3-5 more years out of izzy!

•$600 rebuilt alternator completed; He feels car good for 5 more years likely! That will = 20 years of ownership •battery 6 yrs old and showing decline

Replaced passenger headlight bulb. Removed front wheel Left on the wheel liner Headlight back cover was a bitch had to unlatch two top latches and when complete would have to make sure the bottom was secured to a tab Wire cage you must push and slide a bit to the right on the right side to open. Closing it is a huge fucking ordeal had to place a loonie to prevent it from cutting my fingers bec you have to press hard and slide back under plastic tabs. Other hand used a Allen key to coax it back under th the tab while left hand presses Ed hard against cage. Amazon bulb was $80

•adding 5L castrol edge 5W-40 for summer •oil filter was weird aftermarket that wasn’t snuggly clicked in. Brown sludge on it too. A bit. •considerable oil leakage around under plastic shroud. Oil pan looked clean though. •showed 50% on same day but then min +1 next days drive So addrd 1L and then it read 75%
