Flashed TCU with xHP transmission tune - significantly firmer shifts - more willing to down shift in drive - downshifts better into turns - sport mode is a beast - engine sound slightly lower (is that in my head)? I’m expecting city mpg to drop slightly, hwy unaffected. So much more fun to drive!

Back drivers side threw low tire pressure warning - was down to 30psi, upped both rears to 45psi (spec) and front to 40psi (2psi)

Significant service - leaking radiator /oil cooler - replaced radiator then flush /replace nearly all fluids - small leak on a LP turbo oil line - replaced - all rubber water hoses replaced - automatic transmission fluid and filter replaced (it’s the whole pan) - diff oil replaced - new radiator coolant - oil and filter replacement - fuel filter - front brakes (e89 z4 35is brake rotors) $355 ea - hawk hb0011VISCQ - high performance street - $159

Check engine light and rough idle on start - code read showed one glow plug error Major service - all 6 glow plugs replaced - glow plug controller replaced, shop owner mani had previous issue and labor to remove intake etc is high - suggested: carbon buildup in intake manifold on these cars (direct injection diesel) - fix - disassemble intake and walnut shell blast back side of intake valves - oil change as it was due Cost was $1818, mani discounted it to $1550 Est from BMW

Recall on SCR tank and pump. Warning light came on the week before the recall notice, after the service the engine warning light turned off. Amazing timing.

Firestone checkup: brakes + alignment + rotation - rear pads need to be replaced soon note: ECU est 1400miles - front pads/rotors good - alignment - front right toe was off .15deg tires are all wearing evenly! brake rotors measured - front: 47% (1.181 / [1.148]/1.118)in - rear: 20% (0.960 / [.834] / .803)in New front rotors/brake pads ordered (though not required for a very long time)

Oil change with Castrol Edge, BMW oil filter (mahle) [both from dealership] Mailed in oil to Blackstone for analysis. Came back with high levels of iron (typical for long change oil), small amounts of chrome (keep an eye on ring wear), and very little of many "average" anti-corrosive and plating (titanium).

Maintenance: - Replaced all four tires with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 ZP (run flats). - Four wheel alignment - Replaced oil filter and added 1 qt BMW oil.
