Low pressure return side connector, was rotten and filling cab with hot antifreeze smell but only when heater was on.

Put pieces of bicycle inner tube over inner tie rod joints with radiator clamps. Greased all tie rod fittings.

You need an acetylene torch to get the plastic retainers hot enough to melt out. On the back yoke of the front axle I did not get it hard enough and use the press which squished one side of the yolk in making it very difficult to get the retainer clip on. I had to work it into the backside at the base of the yolk to get it to snap in. You also need to remove the rubber dust shield before you start heating this up. Don’t put the grease Certs in until you’ve got the huge joints attached. You also don’t need to press at all just beat them out when they’re hot with a socketThat fits in the hole. And use the socket to put them back in with a hammer.
