I cleaned the K&N air filter (due to a low turbo pressure error) and we had Eli at Craig's Tire (now called Talley Tire) replace all brakes (front and rear), turn the rotors and replace the front hubs (with sealed bearings). The old bearings had 180k on them and were leaking and making a slight grinding noise, and the car seemed to slow down quickly when coasting. After the replacement, it coasted easily and the grinding noise was gone.

Added 2 1/4 quarts of Rotella. Had the oil/filter changed Sep 11. So IF SpeedyLube filled it all the way - we've lost about 2 quarts/month. Yikes. Will be checking often to see if we're loosing that much oil - or if Speedy Lube didn't fill it. I should have checked it myself after they were done. Tried to find the oil leak - but diesel and oil look an awful lot alike. Pretty sure we have a fuel leak at the gasket level of the fuel filter. Oh btw - also drained fuel/water for 15 seconds. It's starting to get cold and I don't want a frozen fuel filter!
