Just did tune up in the parking lot at work. New double platinum motorcraft spark plugs gapped at.050, wix air filter, BWD wire, & , new pcv valve. Helped the power, considerably. I hope it does the same for the mileage. Total cost for parts and the sparkplug wrench and gap tool 120 dollars. Old spark plugs worn to. 062 pcv no longer rattled, and and the air filter looked quite poor. One of the screws holding the air box lid on was stripped and would not come loose so who knows how long it has been since it was replaced. Planning on replacing with a Volant intake.
