Motorcraft FL-1A and Mobil1 10w/30 All surplus supplies laying around the garage. Added copper crush washers on drain plugs to test leak prevention. Taken from John Deere surplus. Front plug threads show signs of abuse but not as bad as I’d feared.

Replaced rear lower control arm bushings. Front/oval bushing used NAPA (#267-4366) and Duralast (#FB425) bushings. Rear/axle bushing used prothane bushings (kit #6-301).

May 19 2017

Old outer bearings had nylon cages and rollers were severely worn leading to noticeable wheel movement. All old bearings and races were Timken and made in USA, save for one inner race was Koyo brand and made in Japan. Old seals were FoMoCo of unknown age. All new parts Timken and made in USA.
