With 285,000 miles on the odometer, the timing belt LONG overdue for replacement, the water pump leaking, and the A/C needing recharged, I finally had to retire "Proto."
Purchased for $900 from a coworker, I got about 45,000 miles of mostly trouble-free driving over the 2 1/2 years under my ownership.
The initial gas mileage tracked on Fuelly continued right up until the end, consistently getting around 32mpg with regular A/C use.
