$340 total ($100 caliper x 2) - front driver side caliper failed and lost all brake fluid, making brakes useless; replaced both front calipers and added brake fluid; I picked up truck and started driving away and there was a loud grinding sound from both wheels - brought it back to shop after only driving a block, turns out they put the wrong calipers on (because vehicle is an off year) - the correct calipers cost a little more but they put them on and covered the cost

Alternator replaced Just clicking when trying to start. Battery connections needed cleaning $?? Tow - covered by AmFam Roadside assistance $56 labor + $3.50 shop supplies *ended up with same problem of not starting a few starts and 2 days later. First time wouldn't start and needed tow - battery terminals were cleaned but wouldn't start again after. Able to jump it and bring to shop. Needs new alternator. The excessive corrosion on battery terminals was sign of alternator problems. The battery was probably getting bad due to 3 times leaving lights on and I should have fully charged battery after it happened because the alternator doesn't fully charge batteries it just maintains them. Alternator was having to work extra hard with low battery and probably killed alternator.
