Replaced right side radiator hose with Suzuki OEM as last (polyurethane) one was sliced. Lost left side front fairing screw, used spares from spares box to put it back. Cleaned front rotors. They are glazed. And close to wear. And this is the pads' last track day. That means after this track day, front pads and front rotors for sure. Maybe 1 more track day before valves maybe 2. Tires? We'll see.

Added sta-bil and harness for battery tender with 7.5 A fuse. Tires to 31/24.

Tires set to 30/24 as some sites suggest. Carbs basically synced. Check again at track. Chain cleaned. Oil good. Coolant topped off 8 oz of 50% engine ice and 50% water + water wetter.

- tried to sync carbs and didn't succeed. Need to figure out what to do there. - Torqued all chassis, fairing, etc. bolts. - clean and lube and align and set chain tension. - put exhaust all back together - tires at 27/27 for the track - added ~150 mL of oil - coolant top-off but reservoir is empty, need more - noticed left coolant hose to radiator might be leaking pressure. Needs replacement as a precautionary measure - adjusted clutch lever position and tension and throttle slack

Changed oil (2.2 L in it currently, need to top off) and filter. Tightened up and replaced Motion Pro 45 throttle adapter with 40. Tightened up top fork pinch bolts. Clutch wouldn't disengage. Fixed this (?) by transporting Yoyodyne clutch from spare track SV. Now that one is inoperable, but this seems to work. I didn't have a clutch holding tool so the clutch nut is blasted on with an impact electric tool. I have no clue what the torque is. Very iffy, to be honest. Shifter attached but not torqued. Need sleep.

Dec 5 2019

Aligned the front-end and tightened up all the fork, handlebar (except left horizontal position), front brake caliper, etc. bolts. Front plastic is on the wheel but no bolts. Properly set clutch cable position and clutch adjustment. Began rebuilding Motion Pro throttle adapter.

HeliCoiled both camshaft journal holders on rear cylinder. One came out great, the other not so much (rear-most right bolt). Only torqued to 60 in lbs. instead of 120. Maybe not enough threads high enough to hold it. Let's hope it holds. Spark plugs replaced (CR9E, 1 higher heat range). Rear plug might be cross-threaded but hand-tightening didn't suggest that, torque wrench did though. Only torqued to 78 in. lbs. instead of 96 (for both, to keep it even, though front felt fine). Coolant refilled with 50% engine ice (which is itself 50/50) and 50% water+water wetter. 1.5 qts filled, let's see tomorrow how much extra we can put in (manual says 1.7 is full).

Dec 4 2019

Checked valves on rear cylinder - they are miraculously good enough. Exhaust is at 0.23 each, Intakes are R 0.10 and L 0.15. Good enough to do a track day... however... I then stripped or discovered both of the large valve cover bolts go into stripped holes. Can't torque 'em. Ordered a helicoil. Will have to get camshaft covers out but at least no cam chain tensioner removal

Dec 3 2019

Valve adjustment on front cyl. Intakes went from R .13 -> .18 (160 -> 155), L .10 -> .13 (?? -> 150) Exhausts went from R .20 -> .23 (155 -> 150), L .20 -> .23 (155 -> 150). Drained coolant, need to refill. Cut the zip tie connecting crank breather; need a new one. Note a lack of replacement gaskets for cam chain tensioners and valve covers, need to order.

Popped off rear carb and changed main jet from 168 to 165 per Dan. Need to do same for front. Intake manifold on rear is still loose. Noticed fuel lines might be old... if they leak, replace immediately. Adjusted clutch cable at the engine to give it a lot of slack. Needs adjuster nuts tightened and proper play calibrated. What to do about rearsets? Popped on new ones from svrp and they turn out to have the same problem as the old ones. As for a gen 1 replacement for Motoko?
