About to replace fuel lines to aux tank, will add about 12 gallons to main.

About a week ago I clamped off the old cracked fuel lines to the aux tank, waiting on replacements. Pretty amazing gain

some off roading, which probably burned a gallon or so quick. Discovered a fuel line problem which could have been wasting gas

Had to follow a fast car to Phoenix (250miles) uphill with a headwind, short on time. Removed roof rack though, which helped. The return trip was all downhill, tailwind, good speed. I expect to see 14mpg next fuel up
