we have owned three hybrids now. Our first Hybrid was a 2000 Insight that we bought used in 2002 with only 6600 miles on it. We got over 63 MPG for the life of the car which we happily just sold to our son. Replacing it with a CRZ is frustrating - it's a beautiful car, it will do better in the snow here in NH, but the Insight was a far more advanced car in concept. It grieves me that Honda did not make it better rather than just bigger, heavier, fancier and much worse mileage.

My wife and I both drive "by the book", in other words we shift when the arrow says to and always put it in economy mode. We live in a rural area, so most trips are highway driving with few stop lights, etc.
