I live in Suffolk in the UK and run a training consultancy specialising in conflict resolution, negotiation skills and non-verbal communication, with clients worldwide.
We got the Insight new in March 2012, because my daughters (15, 8) no longer fitted in the back of my Mini Cooper S, and none of our four cars was doing more than 27mpg (UK/Imperial).
A sensible car is a wonderful thing! (I've never had one before). The Insight makes me feel strangely Californian, laid back, and happy. In a way, it's the opposite of 'BMW man': angry, dreadful gas mileage, and permanently teetering on the brink of heart failure...
Why 'Alfettaman'? I also have a 1981 Alfetta saloon (Sport Sedan for our comrades across the pond). It's one of our three remaining cars that won't do much over 27mpg (UK) - but it's a fabulous thing to drive! www.alfettaman.co.uk
