My current car: 2005 Saturn Ion 3: This car was a bargain I couldn't refuse. It was a lot safer than my older car, and the plastic body panels meant I'd not have to worry about rust. Got it with 20k miles on it, hoping to keep it until at least 100k miles, and will decide what to do with it then (as long as there are no catastrophic failures).

Previous car - 1992 Toyota Corolla (retired): I bought this car back in 2005 for $500, with around 160k miles on it, expecting it to just last through the winter of College driving. Well, I've graduated, and it's still kicking, so now I'm gonna keep driving it until anything too cost prohibitive breaks.

My next mileage goal is 240k miles, or the distance from the Earth to the Moon! (Made it to 222k before selling it. Last I heard, it was still being driven around my hometown!)
