Glad I burned off most of the 87 octane in my tank. Gas mileage wasn't bad for the wrong grade gas! Put in the correct 91 octane this time. Filled up at the 76 station on Bristol in Costa Mesa, CA.

Filled up tires a bit more, now they are all around 37-38 psi, slightly higher than recommended but much lower than the maximum allowed pressure for the tire.

The tire pump up seemed to help. Was hypermiling for about half the tank but eventually stopped caring and also stopped using neutral at stop lights because worried about tranny. Filled up at the Chevron on Bristol in Costa Mesa.
