Bought a second-hand Prius in January 2012. Wish I'd bought one previously.
My car history is varied and interesting. First car was a Leyland Marina 1750 I acquired from my mother. Quite possibly the worst car ever made, but at least I could mend it. Moved to Sydney without a car for a few years. Bought a Rover 3500 P6B 1973 as a restoration project. Did some restoring until I moved to Canberra. My wife bought a 2000 VW Golf. I bought my sister's Citroën C5 Break (wagon) when she moved overseas for a few years. Gorgeous car, but I was not blessed with the same calibre of mechanic that had serviced the Golf so well. Did some repairs myself but after 270,000km I have a to-do list that will require professional help (and some money). The Citroën also taught me how valuable LRR tyres can be. I changed back to Michelin Energy XM2 and averaged 7.5-8.0l/100km and 80,000km before changing. (The Prius has 3 Ovation ecovision, which are rubbish and an original Bridgestone ecopia that is almost bald but would probably outperform the other 3.)
