Had a cooling system flush and replaced the thermostat (and the housing that holds it.) Apparently, if it goes again, I can replace just the thermostat.

check engine light came on half way through this tank -- the car doesn't seem to warm up very well - it was actually dropping below peak operating temperature on the highway. It goes in Tuesday for a diagnosis.
Half of this tank was highway.

Before this fuel up, I changed my air filter and spark plugs. I found a mouse nest in the air cleaner - no doubt from the year the car spent in storage. We'll see if this improves mileage - so far it appears to have, as it has been very cold here (-30 Celsius) for almost a month, and the car has done very little highway driving (180km of this tank.)
