2231cc turbo diesel, revised model with lower CO2 emissions (158g/km) and higher combined MPG(47.1mpg) than earlier SR180s and T180s. Now replaced with BMW 320d - figures not always accurate for the Auris, some tanks not added which would have improved figures. Goes to prove you can get good MPG from Toyota 2.2 180 engines.
