This bike is no more. A Jetta turned in front of me and that was it. It had a great life.
I got this bike with 14,000mi.
Started tracking on Fuelly @ about 45,000mi.
90% of my riding has been between 65 and 75 mph.
Stock engine/exhaust/jetting
K@N Air filter
Full synthetic 10W-40 year round
I used Dunlop 404s front and back
Added an adjustable bikini fairing (homemade)
Small removable luggage rack (homemade)
Flush rear turn signals (Homemade mounts)
This bike likes hills and varied roads. In general I'm not really too conservative with the throttle (and I'm okay with that ;)
I will usually get 50-55 mpg in the city, the mountains, and at high altitude. On lowlands interstate it gets the worst mileage, usually low 40s.
