Our car is used as a our sales vehicle for AMSOIL. It seldomly sees an interstate road trip (maybe 1/mo), it idles a lot while talking to customers, it hauls loads of cases of oil, and makes regular short trips in town for deliveries.
We are in the largest group of Yaris owners (37mpg) yet our vehicle EASILY qualifies as "severe service" (excessive idling, daily short-trip driving less than 10 miles). Basically, I'm getting what everyone else is getting. BUT I'M GETTING MINE WHILE DRIVING IN TOWN, LOADED, AND LEAVING IT IDLING!
We are using the following AMSOIL products for increased mpg's:
5W-30 Signature Series Motor Oil
Absolute Efficiency Oil Filter
Severe Gear in transmission & differential
P.i. Performance Improver (Gasoline Additive - every 4k miles)
Antifreeze and Engine Coolant
Dominator Coolant Boost
and a Wix Air Filter
