Car was in the shop. Replaced crank shaft sensor after it stalled on several occasions. Fuel pump was not the problem as initially suspected. Repaired at Danny's in Laurinburg. So far runs OK. Filled up to just short of full...did not click.

At just over 1/4 full. I have resolved the service light problem by accelerating "manually" from 2nd gear to drive - especially when the car has warmed up. The service light does not go on this way. Yes the problem is still there (if I accelerate in D) but I can control it now and that makes all the difference. I still think it's a computer or sensor glitch. See comments from March 11, 2010 re: wrench service light.
