I'm a columnist at the Vancouver Sun, one of two major daily newspapers in the city. I write mostly for the business pages, with occasional forays into international development issues. I signed up here because my wife under took a little adventure in the summer of 2009. We left July 18 for a seven-week drive across the continent and back -- west to east across Canada, and returning home through the U.S. I logged my mileage, blogging daily and writing once a week for the newspaper on the car's performance. We were new to this kind of thing -- though our 2009 VW Sportwagen is our third diesel. So stories of your own adventures are still welcome.
