Notes: 75% highway, 25% urban (Manhattan - awful slowness) & suburban. Increased 'pulse & glide' use and it did improve MFD mileage on identical trips. But the city crawls really hurt mpg.

Notes: Aha moment: What I thought was the effect of cooler weather to depress my mileage was rather the LACK of traffic congestion. It turns out that heavier traffic improved my mileage by forcing me to 'pulse & glide' more. I am now looking at using that technique more when possible. 10% urban driving.

Hated this being my worst fill to date but considering the short trips and slow traffic, didn't do as bad as I thought.

Notes: Second fill up. Dealer re-set trip odomenter at 1,000 mile check-up but thankfully had record of first fill up with mileage written on receipt. 90% highway, 10% suburban - rode in HOV lane (Friday to Hamptons but with guests) so drove faster than I usually do for 75 miles.
