4 wheels, 2 seats and a roof when I need it. a sweet-shifting 5-speed that can nimbly move through traffic and corners swiftly and quietly. A joy to drive (but I wish I had the 6th gear they now offer when I'm on the highway), my brother and I have each owned 2,after myriad other cars.
I am this one's 4th owner. I attribute my fuel economy equally to Slick50 and reasonable driving in a familiar environment where I can anticipate. After 70 months and 114k odometer miles I have replaced its top, battery, thrust bearing (my fault), timing belt and water pump (scheduled) and clutch cylinders.
Met a guy in '09 - at the gas station - who said he put over 300k miles on his.
