2005 Nissan Sentra • Gas L4 Sedan

I've seen reports and heard from other Fuelly users that there is a gas tank issue and a recall for a gas tank component for this model/year of the Nissan Sentra. I've contacted two Nissan dealers and Nissan online and they've all told me there is no recall for my car. It's possible that my car is a rebranded 2004 model or it isn't affected by the recall, but the issue I've experienced a few times sounds exactly like the problem related to the recall.

If you have similar issues with a mid-2000s-era Nissan Sentra, please friend me. (Also, if the gas tank issue is indeed affecting your car, I think all the calculations Fuelly gives you are inaccurate because Fuelly bases its numbers on the assumption that your gas tank is not defective.)
