Speed's Towing (presumably) came for Troopy in the night. They were supposed to collect him on Thursday between 9 and 6, but he was here when we got home. The next morning, an empty spot of pavement.

Saturday I called OPB and left a message, donating Troopy. Tuesday Speed's Towing called to arrange things. This morning I left the title and key in the glovebox, with the doors unlocked. Troopy was supposed to be gone when we got home. He's still here.

Took the Trooper into Al's to investigate his sudden loss of coolant and poor compression. He diagnosed a blown head gasket, with the potential for warped cylinders, cracks, etc. That sound? The death knell of Mr. Troopy.
