Got this car when I got my job at Lucasfilm and had to start driving out of the city to work. The job was a big jump for me, and I didn't own a car when I took it. I guess the car was sort of a celebration of making it, in one sense (I was a self-taught programmer and this felt like the first serious job I had). My car-nut friend Carlos suggested looking at this model and I said, "A BMW? No way." But he was right -- I liked the model a lot and it's great for tight parking spaces in the city. The worst part of it is dealing with the other BMW owners (and the employees trained to handle them) at the auto shop -- everything else is awesome.
