Manual Transmisison, 2 door, faithful to the end. It was my third Aspire, I had previously had a 1996 and 1995 model that were each totaled. Sad stories.
This car met a more natural end, and got another year of use by a friend before its Mazda transmission (they all had Mazda transmissions) lost a bearing that would have to be reground and was essentially irreplaceable.
