(My cruiser has 235/85/16 winter tires for winter and 32x11.5x15 MT tires for summer (stock tire size is 205/75/16, I think). The bigger tires do increase fuel consumption by some amount. I also haul stuff in the trunk all the time and there's a very heavy winch at the front.)
