1980 BJ40 Land Cruiser with 3.4L diesel engine, 4 speed transmission, manual steering and runs on B20 biodiesel. This cruiser was imported from BC Canada in March 2006. The BJ40 was disassembled and all rusted steel was removed and replaced with new parts that included tie rods, steering dampener, shackles, windshield frame, fenders, electrical, clutch, four-wheel disc brakes, aluminum tub, custom bumpers, swing-a-way tire carrier, lots of powder coating, new paint, etc. The project took 2 years to complete. Today its regularly driven on paved surfaces, gravel back-roads or forest service trails. A great vehicle for weekend getaways.
