I have a white 1998 Dodge Neon Highline, Sport package. It has the white wheels, spoiler, and cruise. I have had the car since August of 2002 when it had 56,000 miles on it. I have squeeked out almost 32mpg on Interstate 95. Typically here in Annapolis I get 28-30 highway and 24-26 city. Much better than other older cars, but I feel that if the car were to be remade today they could easily hit 40mpg. Throw in an electric engine with the gas engine and you've got yourself a great extended distance electric hybrid car.
Had to replace: tires (2x), radiator, thermostat, timing belt, water pump, battery, door speakers, rear speakers, dash speaker re-solder, leak from trunk at top of left taillight caused carpet to be needed cutting out and cleaned. I believe the head gasket was replaced by the previous owner.
