I'm originally from Costa Rica. I came to Iowa at 19 years old to study Computer Science at Iowa State University in Ames, IA. Graduated four years later with a BS in Management Information Systems and married my wife Alex a few months later. Moved to Des Moines and took a job in the transportation industry as a Fleet Manager which I did for 3 years. Went 2 years after graduation as a part time MBA student at ISU. Finally changed industries and became an insurance adjustor. We own a 2008 Genuine Scooter Stella which is my main vehicle in the Summer, a 2001 VW Beetle which my wife drives (we don't track MPG for that one), a 1984 Porsche 944 (we don't track mpg for this one because the odometer doesn't work and we're in the process of selling it off) and we just got a manual 2005 MINI Cooper for me. I obsessively track MPG on both vehicles I drive, have been tracking Sasha's since she was brand new and Nigel since we got him at 58k miles or so.
