Fuelly Site Issues
I've seen a couple of threads from last year about fuelly working with twitter stating that should be coming soon (this was a while ago). Does this functionality exist yet? I haven't been able to find anything recent concerning this.

I just purchased a new (used) car. However, the tripometer was not set. I'd like to track my fuel purchases using Fuelly, but I'm not allowed to enter my first fill-up without entering the number of miles since the last fill-up. I know that I could track using the odometer but would prefer not to do that. Any help would be appreciated!

Do you have checks on the reasonability of data entered? Just after entering a fill up for my Civic that calculated to the excellent 6.0 L/100km I noticed a recent fill up for somebody else's Civic that was supposedly 2.7 L/100km (or about 48 mpg!). I assume it was because of a typo.

Amazingly fast rise from worst to first for the Jetta. 6 months ago it wasn't even in the top ten tracked cars list on Fuelly, and today it passed the Honda Civic as the number 1 tracked car. i would believe it fast rise was due to the really catchy Fuelly badge making it way on to the TDI club site and attracting to sign up on Fuelly to get one. the merger of gassers and TDI'S helped a bunch too. 6 months ago there where no Fuelly badges on the Tdi site and now most have one. www.tdiclub.com

Jetta TDI 2009, Do the chips help with horsepower increases and improved gas mileage, if so which one is good or the best.
The counter points I have heard prev, was if you could improve gas mileage by 5 mpg, for $200-400, would VW, do this themselves.
Are there any risk with using chip, ie blowing you engine

I was just thinking (and now my brain hurts). How about a drop-down menu showing MPG in terms of gasoline, diesel, CNG, cheeseburger, etc. The calculation shouldn't be more than caloric conversions between different types of fuels. eg, let's say I get 30 MPG gasoline. How does that translate to diesel? Or what if I use cheeseburgers? How many miles can I get on a cheeseburger? Might be a fun thing to see.

Does anyone know how much the AC being on affects fuel milage on a Diesel engines? I have a 2009 Jetta Sportwagen DSG with a TDI engine. I live in Phoenix AZ where it is already hitting 108 degrees.
