First fuel up advice please

First fuel up will be in the morning... Question does it matter that my car isn't fully empty before I fill up ??

Id say there's about a 1/4 or maybe a 1/8th of a tank left with the calculations work it all out ?

No, it doesn't matter if your car isn't fully empty. The only thing that matters is that you fill it to the top when buy fuel. (If you can't fill it to the top—mark it as a partial fuel-up.) How full your tank is when you fill up doesn't matter too much in the scheme of things. Here's more info: Why do I have to fill the tank all the way up every time I buy fuel?
