Ability to comment on Fuel Tips

Yeah, we considered that from the outset, but I've found on other sites these kinds of things often degrade into arguments and instead of having a hypermiler vs. normal driver war on the site, we decided to just approve the tips that are mostly true or true in most cases (you could argue edge cases where things don't work as expected for pretty much any tip) and use them as more of rules of thumb than host endless debates about the merits of each.
I see your point. I still would like some way to discuss the tips though, may be a link to the "Fuel Talk" Forum would be enough.
Or how about using a star or Thumbs up/down rating system. You could even use little Fuelly pumps as the star. This is a 4 pump tip!
An up/down rating is a great idea. I'll throw it on our to-do list.
