check box for ethanol?

Can there be some sort of ethanol check box available? I am trying to gauge if it decreases my fuel efficiency or not, and having the ability to track which fuel-ups have ethanol or not would be handy. I'm only thinking just a check box of "check here if gas had added ethanol" so it would only make a notation that could be charted and sorted. Just an idea! Thanks!

We decided not to track individual fuel-types or octane ratings separately unless they require a different engine to run (diesel vs. gas), so I don't think we'll be adding a checkbox for ethenol. But you can either note the ethenol mix in the notes field to help you remember, or tag any fuel-ups with 'ethenol' or 'ethenol10' or some other specific tag. That way you could group similarly tagged fuel-ups together in the future.

ok, cool. I have been doing that with tags, so I'll just keep on doing that. Thanks!

on a related note, any chance of making the tags easier to access? A tag cloud at the bottom of our main page might be nice -- that way we can see what the popular tags are and how often they come up. Right now it's a bit cumbersome/confusing going through each car with each listing.

tag cloud! thanks!

Yeah, that's a great idea. I added it to our to-do list.

sweet, thanks!!! seeing other's tags would be cool, too, but I understand the complications of that.
