Total Cost Rather than Cost/Gallon

I saw an archived post asking to be able to enter the total cost of the gas purchase, rather than the cost of gas per gallon/liter. I agree with this as it would still produce the cost per gallon, but would also allow totaling the dollars actually spent for gas which is more meaningful. The cost per fill up is also a number I track myself, and somebody else noted they squeeze the pump to round the fill up to the nearest dollar so it's an easier number to remember/record.

I have no idea what is on your dash board page, but mine has the total cost of the fuel I have used thus far.

I fill my tank until 2 drops drip over the edge. This makes my total for each tank absolutely accurate.
