Viewing in km/L

New site units: Metric 2. At long last we added the fuel economy measure km/L to the site.

This has been our top requested feature for the last few months as more people across the globe are trying out Fuelly. When we built the site we assumed that countries using the metric system had switched to Litres per 100 kilometers exclusively for comparing fuel economy. But we've heard from folks in Mexico, Denmark, Thailand, Macedonia, Malaysia, and India (and I'm probably forgetting some) that they use km/L instead.

There are bound to be bugs. So let us know if you use km/L and run into problems.

Dear Fuelly.com, thank you for the Metric2 (km/L), Fuelly.com now just like family to us, BUT one more request to complete km/L system (we are out side from USA), please,,, please,,, please DELETE the L/100km.
I'm sure nobody in planet Earth are talking L/100km, absolutely. L/100km just in the mathematics lesson.

Dear MMUK & DTMAce,
Thank you, Sir.
km/L is very very important for us in South East Asia.
Now Fuelly.com is very compatible with our way of thinking.
Success to Fuelly.com.

I like the way the units are now described (L/100km & km/L), it's clearer than 'metric' & 'metric 2' :-)

Thanks guys yet again.

Yeah, L/100km isn't going anywhere. It is used quite a bit. And yeah, we realized that 'metric' and 'metric 2' were a little too mysterious.

Glad it's working so far!
