118.8 MPG on bike

Just got 118.8 UK MPG (98.92 US MPG) on my motorbike. Best ever, normally get around 97-109 UK MPG. I have altered my commute to avoid lots of stop start, and concentrated on accelerating smoothly and gently.

It would be good to have MPG leader-boards so you can browse by MPG as well as by make and model to help inform when buying new vehicles.

Yeah, leaderboards are a big request but we don't want to provide an incentive to cheat.

Leaderboards could be average across vehicles rather than by user, with a minimum number of fill-ups across the vehicle range to help prevent one user skewing the figures?

PS - here is the site I used that converts UK to US MPG and vice versa

Can you tally your mileage against a GPS device please, I suspect someone has fitted the incorrect speedometer to your bike :)

Seems perfectly plausible for a 125 ridden carefully. Although having a GPS confirmation on the distance is always good (ignore the speedo when checking with the GPS).
