Average running mileage on dashboard mistakely same as last fill-up.

The "Running Avg" is a new stat currently only showing on the Dashboard that is an average of the last 10 fuel-ups. If you view the car profile page you will see that Radiant Red still has a 7.5 L/100km all time average.

New Fuelly Design

@MUD4FUN / @SkootzKabootz / @iceweazel - The "after fuel-up stats notice" has been revised a bit, both in less stats being displayed (as a number of the stats appear elsewhere on the page) and also to not be on top of anything else.

Please understand that the info that was appearing on top of the page used to be an entire page in of itself - so you ALWAYS had to click to get rid of it.

The purpose is to have you review what you just added and give an easy link to edit if needed - so we don't plan on getting rid of the notice altogether, but hopefully now that it is a little more streamlined you (and others) are not so bothered by it.

@nizationpcs and others - There is now a per car setting to turn off Driving Type Tracking (City vs Highway). From your Car Details page page click on [EDIT CAR] up near the top.

More details here:

@iznljca - While it is possible to recreate the main stats down in the mini stats, the mini stats can have the time period fine tuned. So you might re-use a metric (Avg MPG) but have the time period at Last 3 Months. I actually have Avg MPG repeated twice next to each other comparing the last 3 months to the last 12 months.

@DMTAce - As you start to use the new system you should see that the City Driving % will default to the same percentage as your last fuel-up on a per car basis. So if each of your cars has it's own average it should be easy leave as is or make slight adjustments as you go along.

@jsinton - I've used Google Chrome quite a bit on the new site. Is there something in particular that seems off? Also, what OS/screen resolution are you on?

@xaarman - what stats are you missing now? Through the customized mini stats you should be able to have even more stats than before, with the exact settings you want.

@kevm14 - If you have notes expanded as your setting, there is now alternate CSS loaded which will give you more room for notes.

@Jnitrofish - A solution for no data vs 50/50 is in works.

@JP2085 - Right below the mini log book there is a link to expand the notes as your default.

@udtrev - Total Fuel-ups mini stat corrected.

@ARDailey - Hmmm... removing a vehicle works fine for me (retiring too) - can you give me details on what is happening for you. Also, EPA items should be working for you now.

@wilburdude - Recent activity has a short caching period that would make it not update right away. Also, I believe it might also filter out your own activity... it says "other Fuelly users".

@wilburdude / @kevm14 - As of current, for the mini log book to support paging and sorting the plug we are using can not have the notes spreading to other columns. We are considering other options. Shortly the main fuel log page (View All Fuel-Ups) will have extra functionality for searching, etc.

Thanks all!

A preview of our new site for Earth Day!

@everyone - the full fuel log page is active now ("View All Fuel-ups")... on that page you get 30 entries per page and the notes fully expanded. Does this satisfy the requirement for full notes?

@czechsmasher - is your Units set to UK? under the fuelly logo?

@jawnguy - There is a link below the City Vs Highway chart that says "Want to display some custom stats here?" - if you click on that you can add a stat for "Total Distance Tracked" and then the time period you are interested in... you can have whole years or a rolling period like last 3 months. The interface on how to add custom stats will be changing before launch, but the functionality is there.

@mikewithaprius - those features (how much would you save, EPA, similar cars) are not going away... you will see them return shortly...

@yourmom - there will be a dedicated log book page that will have all the notes expanded
