Support for motorbikes
Yeah, we'll do it by asking you to fill in year, make, and model (and engine size) options, then we'll have to clean up the data later on so motorcyclists six months from now with the same bike can compare data with you as well.

iPhone WebApp?
Yeah, we're working on twitter input.

No problem, just a thought
I've had so many bad experiences on other sites with features like that (and they're often turned ON by default and you accidentally email 50 friends) that I don't think we'll ever add something like that.
I'd rather rely on old-fashioned word-of-mouth, so if you want to invite friends, just open up your address book in your email application of choice and send them a link to the site!

Running average?
Yeah, we've talked about either doing running averages or median instead of average to smooth the outliers out.

Future Features (Maintenance)
Yeah, that's definitely on the to-do list. We'll add the ability to just leave a maintenance record instead of only just fill-ups. It's kind of farther down the list, so it'll be a few weeks.

Batch Import?
Yes, we are working on uploadable data, probably have something early next week.

Skoda
Yep, we're working on more models in the next week or two.

iPhone WebApp?
We mention the mobile site in the welcome email as well, but we could also put a link up somewhere to make it more obvious.

New EPA calculations?
The EPA data we list is fresh from the fueleconomy.gov site, as of last week. I noticed with my own cars, the estimates seem to fall into newer reduced estimates (I think the EPA changed their criteria a year or two ago). So I'm pretty sure the data is up to date, but if there has been any more recent updates, as soon as the EPA updates their free data sources, we'll update them on our end.

The international user.
Yes, as you can see in previous questions, yes we're working on metric additions as well as free-form car model additions.

"It didn't quite get to full."
Good points, I think we could do that as a checkbox option, and/or switching to medians instead of averages.

Miles? Gallons?
Yeah. Would you want the data presented in km per liter or L per 100km?
I'm kind of ignorant of the metric units people in other countries are used to seeing.

Alternate input methods?
Yeah, we're going to do a twitter bot of some sort at @fuelly on twitter, so hopefully you can just SMS in the details. Give us a week or so.

Best fuel economy for the buck
heh, the Prius still comes in third, even with the huge upfront costs.

My car gets 12 rods to the hogshead and that's how I like it!
Looks like liters/100km is the european standard.

EPA estimates
Yep, here it is. Maybe the EPA thing is only shown when you add a car?

huh, pb, I don't see any EPA info on my 2003 Jetta TDI Wagon, and no link to correct it. Is there any info on that model on the EPA site?

Calendar picker for entering fuel-up date?
Yeah, that'd be nice to have. One for the to-do list.

Motocycle Data
I guess if we just did an Other catch-all for motorcycles and scooters, we'd lose any/all of the social comparison aspects of the data, since the data wouldn't be structured.

EPA estimates
Yeah, that's definitely on our punchlist before launch. Before we get loads of data from other drivers, we always wanted to show if you were +/- from the EPA estimates.
I had no idea they had a downloadable format, that's going to save us loads of dev time incorporating it, thanks for finding it (we were talking about scraping the entire dataset to get our own).
