1994 Civic VX - doesn't start, help please!!!

Swapped the distributor with one from my other VX - that fixed it. Now off to figure out how to bring the dying distributor back to life. Never rebuilt a distributor before. What do I do - get new Coil, cap, rotor?

Congratz dude! I found out how to test coils yesterday. It's real easy with an ohm meter. Just google the specs for it. And you can take the ECM out and take it to autozone for testing. Google that one too. I'm Sory I don't have links for you man. Lol

Congrats and thanks for the update! I have a noise that's most prominent from 40-60 and only with the throttle applied in some fashion, loudest at WOT. It sounds like a 'higher pitched' ceramic/metallic like 'rub' or grind-like sound. I would suspect wheel bearing but only with throttle applied? Maybe my dizzy or cam is making some noise? Anyway, not to hijack but I suspect the distributor for some reason. I get an occasional rough idle when hot...
