$3 ef headlight warning buzzer

http://www.hondaworkshop.com/misc/cr...light_warning/

gonna go tomorrow and get a $3 piezo curved tone buzzer at the shack

have to park in west philly for the week, so I wired in a fuel cut off switch today.

I unbolted the door latch from the running board, lifted the trim, plastic panel, and carpet and spliced into the power that runs from the main relay to the fuel pump. I ran the wire under the carpet, across to beneath the passenger seat. I slit the carpeting under where the rail mounts to the floor, and put the 25A rocker switch under that mount. You cannot see it or the wire!

We put too much love in to our cars to settle for the measly insurance money.

I don't even have liability, so i don't think i'd get anything.

I was going to do this to the Beater the day I wrecked it. I saw it posted on HT.

I have mine just rigged into the fuse box. Took me 1 minute install time.

Copied from Hondatech "plug the red wire into the accessory spot labeled 2 in the fuse box and the black to 3. there should be 5 spots in a row at the top of the fuse box under the dash.

the links above seem a little too complex for something so simple.

the only thing is, is that it buzzes when the lights are on and the car is off. it doesnt matter if you leave the key in or take it out."

I just stripped the wire about 3/4 of an inch folded the now bare wire over the tip of the fuse and plugged it back in. Repeat for other fuse and done.
