Best removable adhesive?

I want to affix something to my car but don't want it to be permanent in case I want to sell it later. I figured a Google search would pull that right up but I am swamped by results involving either permanent mounting or people trying to remove old adhesives that were too aggressive. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Magnet sounds like a good idea, actually. A flat hard drive magnet coated in Plasti Dip shouldn't mar the finish, and just screw or glue whatever to the magnet. It won't go anywhere.

I have a few things I want to attach, but the specific item right now is a Darwin fish. It's rigid, so the sheet magnet I glued to it doesn't conform so well to the curved surface and the holding power was dubious. Hard drive magnets sound like a good idea, especially since I have a couple old hard drives.
