bike rack

Well, wasn't sure which category to put this under; I'm looking to buy a bike rack that'll fit on the back of my VX and was wondering if anyone has a bike rack on their Civic hatch and can recommend it (or not).
I would like to be able to put 2 bikes on the rack.

or if anyone knows of a trailer hitch that will fit a 92 VX for sure that would be great too. That way I could mount a hitch and get a bike rack for that. Disadvantage: having the constant extra weight of the hitch...

I've always been partial to Thule products. We have a Thule Speedway 962xt rear mounted rack that we use on both of our vehicles. Its a strap-on style rack, pretty easy to mount up securely. I'm not sure if it'll fit a VX, but it is very adaptable.
If you're looking for a 2 bike carrier, check out the 961xt:

I like the Thule products as well, but I would like to have a carrier on the rear and when you use their 'wizard' to see what options there are for a '92 Civic hatchback it will only show either hitch mounted racks or roof mounted...

my dad recently made his own bike rack. different car, but it should fit any car with a trailer hitch. the trailer hitch was custom made as wel. and slightly moddified to support the rack. it's not really on the light side but it works rather well.

depending on what you want and useing parts from an existing roof or hitch rack it's not to hard to make something that suits your needs and fits your car, if you have the tools and the time..
