Also figured out that my new speedo cable is broken. I managed to fix my old one, so it will go in tonight.

Learn from my mistakes people...
Use OEM or a good quality seal(timkin is good). Also check the sealing area on the axle for nics and dings.

I've only used OEM seals. The ones from Napa were shapped incorrectly.

That being said, the issue wasn't dings or nicks, but rather that I put the seal in incorrectly.

For my car I only get parts from the dealer, or a a place that sells dealer parts.

I don't want to be replacing the same part twice. I only go these auto stores to buy oil and dump my oil.

Maiden voyage was a total success. I think this tank is going to be around 50mpg at this current rate, which is good, but not good enough.

I think I felt the lean burn a few times kick in, but I'm unsure. I really need to hook up a multimeter to the o2 sensor to see the values. Krousdb, which wires did you hook it up to do get your reading?

For anyone working on putting seals or bearings in their car, I highly recommend purchasing a seal driver set...very inexpensive and highly effective.

For anyone working on

Matt- This is Ted Hart. I have a question: Your pics show a 4-cyl engine ; MY Honda 600 Coupe had a 2-cyl motorcycle engine...even air-cooled! What gives? -Ted
P.S. I can help you with gas mileage (later, when the "new" wears off!LOL). Keep in touch!
