? for dmm user's, monitoring lean burn

I hooked up the dmm to monitor lean burn. Currently the highest positive reading im getting is .41 and the lowest is -.88. This 02 sensor (for the 92 vx, 5 wire) i purchased from oxygensensor.net. Its the one with the blue wire instead of the red. Anyway, i put the old one back in, the one that came with the car, and im getting readings from -.88 to 1.04. Does this sound normal, does it sound like the older one will allow the car to run more lean? I wont know if the mpgs changed till my next fill up. Just wondering what thoughts are. Thanks in advance. Having the dmm hooked up did allow me to keep the car in lean burn longer, and my milage came up some.

Sounds to me like the one you got isn't calibrated the same as the OEM one.

But MPG will probably tell you for sure.

Best way to tell without the Honda OBDI reader tool is to leave the new one in for about three tanks of gas to get an average and see how it's doing.

Does anyone have photos of their lean burn monitor set up? I would like to monitor my LAF but am not sure how to install the jumper wires at the ECU. Some reference images would be very helpful.

Im on the begining of my third tank and it looks like im going to atleast break the 48mpg mark. There has been just over 4 more mpgs with the oem 02 sensor as compared to the one i got from oxygensensor.net. I wonder if anyone else has gotten these same results. Guess ill use the new one in a pinch and start saving for a new oem one.
