My Insight shows .2~.3gph at idle.
It shows the same with engine on coasting when the Honda FCD shows 0L/100km. I talked to Ron DeLong at Scangage about this his reply:

"The Honda reports that fuel is being used during fuel cutoff. We are working on a way to determine when fuel cutoff is active, but have not found out how to do this yet."

You would think that a high rpm and off throttle position would mean there is no fuel being injected - seems simple enough - just have to set the closed throttle position value i.e. the lowest number it drops to should do it and have fuel cutoff. Unless there is a big throttle bypass going on.

The injectors will pulse fuel through periodically to keep the cat warm, that may be what's being read.

Fully Warmed sable is exactly the same as the Integra.

Jetta TDI .1 fully warm, sometimes flicks to .0

A hint on the scangauge is to set it to liters, when I am in liters I am at .2l when warm.

I am now convinced this is why pulse & glide or engine off coasting doesn't help my mileage much, but I can see how it matters more with a gasser.

So if I wired in an injector shut off, it wouldn't show on my scan guage? Bummer. That would screw up my displayed MPG on the SG.

What size motors are those? If i remember right sables have 3 liter motors.

Good Idea with switching to liters per hour, for more accuracy!

While engine off coasting in neatral, my ZX2 is getting 9999 MPG according to SG!

For me .4-.5 is Warm in Park. I didn't write it down, but its around another .1 for drive, .1 more for AC, and another .1 blower on high and highbeams andwipers and brakelights.

I was trying to get a ball park idea what idle fuel consumption should be. My car is idleing like it is running on 3 and a half cyllenders, but is runs fine above 900 RPM. It was running worse earlier (.5-.6) before I found out a camshaft was a tooth off.

The big problem is, unlike most cars, it is hard to find answers in the internet for a Daewoo. I am going to try cleaning the EGR, Idle Air Control, and around the throttle blody. Also It may be a fuel injector, or a coil. Will check compression too. I really want to find what the problem is!
