Seat slider differences on CRX's?

The seats in my CRX HF are rather worn and I was happy to find totally mint Si seats in the Netherlands. I had them shipped over and was going to install them today when it turns out they don't fit. Big disappointment!
Now I am wondering if this is because they're from a European CRX or of the HF is different from the other CRX versions.
First I tired to just bolt the new seats in when I discovered the bolts were located at wrong spots. Then I investigated if I could use the HF guide rails on the new seats but the bolts (or more like 1 bolt) are at the wrong spot. The seata I got in have a rectangular pattern or in other words the bolts are at the same spots on both rails, but on the HF one rail has one bolt at a different spot.
When looking for other seats my question is if I am restricted to HF seats (in which case it is going to be very hard to find a replacement and I will probably be better of trying to have them reupholstered).
I know it is not a FE related question at all but hey one it's still nice to drive in style and drive economically at the same time right?

Between the 88 and 88-91, there is a floorpan difference between the CRXs. You should be able to bolt on your sliders onto the seats and have them bolt-up.

edit:
Depending on which bolt doesn't line up, you might be fine. I know on one side there are 3 small bolts/studs. If one of those is the issue, I doubt it would make a difference.

My solution was to strip both seats down to the lower pan and swap pans, bolt right in like factory. Do a search, the years are fickle on CRX/Hatches. Mak

Yeah - you should be able to swap the metal pan and rails from the bottom of your HF seat onto the EDM seats and throw the assembly into your car.
If you were looking for USDM seats, it's a matter of the car having door-mounted seat belts or not. All '88 models and the '89 HF had normal B-pillar mounted seat belts while the remaining '89-91 models got door mounted belts to comply with passive restraint requirements.
