Side Gapped Spark Plug Life Span ?

Does anybody have any idea or experience with how long a set of side gapped spark plugs might last, in terms of mileage?

According to: Optimizing Your Ignition
Sparks love sharp angles.
As soon as things begin to 'round off' I would change the plugs.
You can adjust the gap of any plug, but it is usually cheaper to replace em.

In my experience, about 10,000 miles, then you need to file the nose sharp and regap them. They should be run with a smaller than stock gap... think ten thou under is good.
