Source of Vinyl sheeting.

vinyl roof flashing is now available at lowes in the roofing section. it is in a 10 or 20 inch wide roll by 50ft long. the 20 inch wide is $35 in white or tan. Not sure about all the stores but I figure if it is here then it is probably everywhere. It is right beside the tin roof flashing. I picked up a roll of it and will probably use it for a lot of stuff. While I was there I picked up a 1/8 x 1/2 x 8ft aluminum strip to help frame it up since it is not that thick on its own and will probably flop around in the wind.

This stuff would be good for the windshield wiper cowl or grille block or whatever doesn't need to be any bigger than 20 inches x 50ft

Might want to keep this in mind next time you are at the hardware store.

It comes in white or tan. I just used it to make a grille block on that 91 metro bumper I got that will soon be on my car. A heat gun can form it pretty well. I primed it and painted it black. It looks pretty good I will see in a few weeks how well the paint holds up. I might have to get a different kind of primer though but it seems to work pretty good.

A piece of this stuff (not $35 worth!) would make excellent windshield covers for ice / snow removal! Just slip a piece under your wiper blade(s?) when you park it...come out much later(it snowed, whatever)...just peel it up! Eureka! A clear hole! No scraping, no time lost, no four-letter words !
